The writer in me
Dec 2011- Living and enjoying Costa Rica, with coffee!
Jeremiah 30:2 Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, “Write in a book for yourselves all the words that I have spoken to you.”
Life has a way of getting me off track in certain areas. One of those areas is my writing.
Because of where I live, I am not able to find any writers groups to join. I have looked, and just can’t find any! Writing conferences are very expensive for me to attend, because of the travel. I rely on books and blogs.
So what do I have? Desire!
I had a desire for writing, given to me by my Creator, but through life’s challenges it was stolen. I tried to pick it up again, but it was gone, poof! Until one day through prayer, the thief was caught and he had to return my gift.
I have since been back reading the many writing blogs on the internet. They are so very helpful and encouraging, and I am motivated once again to pick up were I left off.
I am writing, again, and careful to not let the enemy steal what is mine.
