Testimony
Welcome! Here you will read a bit of Yvette´s testimony, passion and read how Fresh Wind Ministries came to be.
Yvette´s paternal grandparents were ordained ministers, and she recognized the call of God upon her life at a very young age.
As a young adult, Yvette had an emptiness and void within. It was not until her husband Fernando led her back to the Lord. It was then that she made a commitment to fully serve and follow Him.
In the early years of walking with the Lord, Yvette went through a refinement and being refreshed by His word. During this time, the Lord deposited the prophetic gifting.
Understanding this responsibility, she looked for some training and instruction in this area. The training and instruction was found and lasted five years. What she thought was prophetic course turned out to be much more. The Lord had greater plans for her!
During the years of training and guidance from the Holy Spirit, the Lord brought many areas to death in the life of Yvette, all the while refining her for the work which lay ahead. It was during this time that she underwent growth and renovation. She was able to receive mentorship and training.
Qualification came as Yvette was placed into the fivefold ministry by prophetic and apostolic decree at a leadership conference in March of 2004. Yvette then lived firsthand what it was meant to lead the new generations of leaders.
A renewed growth took place and a burning desire and passion to serve the Lord grew at a higher level. The vision for ministry was planted in her spirit, and Fresh Wind Ministries was birthed.
It was not until years later that the Lord released Yvette to begin the ministry. With a fresh spirit-led fire and zeal within, a passion burns to see the Bride of Christ equipped to rise up in it´s full power and potential and prepare the Body for the end times.
Yvette´s zeal and desire to know more of the Lord continues. She has enrolled in Bible Study Courses to obtain her B.S. in pastoral studies.
Fernando and Yvette Nietzen live in Costa Rica where Yvette ministers in her local church, through speaking engagements and on line.

hi yvette I was reading how you got into prophesying
I have prophetic dreams, I have pictures in my head on how to talk about a certain biblical fact from God,
I know when something is not right with a person who is close to me or if I just know them. Also I know when a person is going to die. These are just some of the things God has given me. is this normal in prophesy?
The prophetic is a big subject, but to answer your questions one rule of thumb that we should always follow is what the Apostle Paul used: Faith, Hope and Love.
In regards to prophetic dreams, there are different types, internal, external, prophetic, warning and garbage dreams. The way to label a dream prophetic is if you are looking at the dream, you are not the main star of the dream. Kind of like seeing a movie.
When you know that something is not right with someone, it is the gift of discerning of spirits which everyone should operate in, but more so the prophet. We pick up something going on the persons spirit so that we can pray accordingly.
In regards to dreams regarding death, I would be very careful of this type of thing. Jesus brings life and life abundantly. You could ask yourself these questions. Was this dream from the Lord? Does this person need Jesus? Is this a warning dream? Did the dream bring fear? Any type of dream that brings fear, discard it. The word says the God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.
With all the above, a prophet operates in bringing the person closer to Jesus, never pointing out sin. I am not sure how long the Lord has given you this gift, but one thing for sure Satan hates prophets. We are God´s mouthpiece for His church, and Satan will always try to bring in counterfit and deception. It does take time to develop and weed out what Satan wants to hinder in you. People try to label prophets false because they miss it, but it´s not true. Every person that has operated in the prophetic has missed it, especially me. (smile) It does take time to nuture and develop the gift. The best way is through study of the word, prayer and journaling. I can´t live without my journal!
There are also online sources and books, and training available to develop the gift.
