Who cares, God cares!

2 Chronicles 7:14  if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

The last few years we have seen a rapid change in the world’s economy and spiritual decline.  To say that both of these are in fast forward  is an understatement.

We have become very grateful for our Lord in directing our move to Central America.  For now, we seem to enjoy a low poverty and unemployment rate, and overall life is good.  While we don’t live a life of luxury, we have  peace here  and don’t see the decline as rapidly as the States and other nations.    Because of this I had developed an indifferent attitude, but the Lord  corrected me!   As  believers we should not think like this, and we should care for His church and people in other nations.

I have seen the verse quoted above quite frequently on the internet.  The Lord is waking up his church and calling for prayer, repentance and fasting.

When the children of Israel disobeyed the Lord, they would come before Him in repentance, turn from their sin and direct  their hearts to the Lord.  It  is then that the Lord would come in and provide miracles for them. Who is to say that the same thing cannot happen today?

I have always  believed that as we come closer to the coming of our Lord, that His anointing and Spirit will increase  and we will flow in His power unlike before.

I have read several prophecies regarding revival in the States, and I believe them to be true.  But for revival to come, one must be prepared in their hearts and it starts with repentance.

I had to repent of my I don’t care attitude.  The Lord is saddened at the turn of events.  I also know that certain things must take place to prepare for the second coming of Christ.  As Christians, we  have a responsibility to pray as we are led to pray by the Spirit.

It’s time to believe for the God of miracles to come with his mighty right hand and perform  signs among His people. I am ready for this, are you?

Blessings!

You Can Hear My Voice

By Mark J. Chirrona

Truly the hungry and the thirsty, in this hour, are seeking water, and they have found none. But I will open up rivers in high places, and I will water the wasteland, and the desert shall blossom like the rose. And I will satisfy your desire in scorched places, for I have seen the journey of My people. I have seen the affliction with which they have been afflicted.

“I have walked with you through your dark places. I have held you and caressed you in your dry places. Yet, because of the nature of the journey in this season, it has been difficult for many to recognize My hand. I would say unto you now, while you cannot see My hand, you do know My voice. Take comfort in the fact that while you are waiting to see My hand of visitation and My hand of vindication, yet you can hear My voice.

“For I will not leave you without a word; I will not leave you without a declaration; I will not leave you without a decree; for I speak, and it stands fast. I command, and it is done. I will bring again water out of the rock—not the rock of man’s making but the Rock of My choosing. Out of the wounded side and the belly of My Son there comes in this season a mighty torrent, a river that shall come out of heaven in this next season and flood the saints, and they shall rejoice in the river by My glory,” saith the Lord.

“But you would say with the multitude of voices, ‘How can I, oh God, in this season distinguish Your voice? At one time, I thought I knew it well. But where I have been and what I have been through has challenged my ability to feel as though I could rightly recognize the voice of the Shepherd.’

”Hear now, My child, I call you by name. My Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you belong to Me. There is never a day that has gone by [on which] I have not witnessed to your spirit that you are Mine. Every time you open the Holy Book, My Spirit speaks to you. Yet because you have been surrounded by many a test and by many a trial, you have given your ear to the voices of temptation and to the voices of distraction.

“But My voice is clear and certain, and you already know it. Do not allow the enemy to cause you to say in your heart, ‘I do not know the voice of my Shepherd.’ The only voice you have ever followed in consistency, that has brought you health and safety, is My voice.

”I will not leave you. I will not forsake you. I speak, and as you listen and respond … I will deliver you from your distractions. I will set you free from your hindrances. I will break the chain of your temptations, and yes, I will restore to you the confidence that you can truly hear My voice.

“For you were created to hear My voice. You were born to hear My voice. You were destined to hear My voice, and you were destined to respond and say, ‘Here am I.’ Oh, child of God, not only do you know My voice, [but] I know your voice. I have heard your cries. I have heard your tears. I have heard your wrestlings. I have heard your tumults. I know your voice and I assure you, you will see My hand.

“Know for a certainty, I am the Lord; there is none other. And when I speak, every other voice goes dumb. Do not wonder or ponder in your hearts, ‘Does not the Lord see? Does not the Lord hear?’ For I am the Lord who made the eye, and I am the Lord who made the ear, and I both see and hear, and in this season, I will vindicate My name amongst the elect. For there are many voices rising in the earth claiming they speak for me, but know this, My child, when I speak, everyone will know I am the Lord and there is none other.

”I will give you assurance after assurance after assurance that I am leading you by My good Spirit. Trust Me! Trust Me! Trust Me, for I will not fail you. I will not forsake you. For lo, I am with you, and if that is not sufficient, I am for you, and child of God, if that is not sufficient, know you not I am in you, both to will and to do of My good pleasure? Trust in Me. Trust in My voice. Trust in My power, and watch what I will do.

“For in not many days hence, there will come a fresh moving in your life that you have cried out for, for months. In not many days hence, there will come a fresh opening in your spirit. In not many days hence, there will come fresh manna to you from the depths of heaven into the depths of your soul, and you will enter into a summer of the miraculous, for I have decreed it and I have declared it,” saith the Lord.

Arise, Go into the City

Acts 9:6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” And the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”(NKJ)

This is the popular chapter in Acts where Saul is blinded  on the road to Damascus as he is persecuting the Christians.  Saul falls to the ground as a light shone around him from heaven.  The Lord then informs him ¨I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. ¨

Still on the ground, Saul then ask the Lord what he wants him to do, and the Lord replies with ¨ Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what to do. ¨

As I read this verse,   I was struck by it because many times we hear how the Lord directs us one step at a time.  As we do what the Lord ask of us in obedience, that first step will lead to greater things.

Many times we tend to complain because what we are told seems insignificant to us.  But how can the Lord bless us with bigger things if we are not faithful in the little?

Can you imagine if the Lord kept on talking to Saul and began telling him his life story.    What would have happened?  Would Saul obeyed if he knew all that the Lord had planned for him?  It would have been overwhelming, and he could have backed out.

As always, the Lord knew what He was doing, and more importantly, how He was directing him.  The Lord directs us one step at a time, and gives us just what we need, when we need it.

I  have a secret for you.  We are not supposed to have the full picture.

When we begin our walk, we can only handle so much, otherwise it just may overwhelm us and we may feel inadequate  and back out.   God´s ways and plans are always bigger than ours.  As we continue our walk in obedience, the Lord  is faithful to equip us to fulfill the calling upon our life.

For us to fullfill our calling there are two things we need to do.  We need to ask the Lord what He would like us to do, and  we need to arise and go into the city.  It is then He will gives us the next phase of the plan.

May the Lord bless you as you arise in Him.

Word for September, 08

I will pour out my Spirit in a greater measure to  those that are earnestly seeking Me and bowing to Me  in the quiet of their lives.

There is an abundance of outpouring that will land upon my dry and barren land.  Many are crying for more of My Spirit, for power in their lives and I will be answering those prayers in different parts of the world this month of September, for the ninth month is a month of birthing says the Lord.

Many new gifts in my people will be birthed this month. The world will be astounded at what I am doing in my Body.  These gifts will come to those that seek my presence, that seek my anointing, my glory.

For the time has come for a greater measure of my Spirit to be poured out upon the earth.

The time draws near for the return of My Son.  Darkness increases, but as darkness increases so does my power and authority says the Lord.

Vision – I saw a giant hurricane-type wind form in the ocean, and the wind would come upon the land, and overtake different parts of the world.

Receiving His Revelation

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him

For those of you that know me, Ephesians is my favorite book in the Bible.  I have read this book countless times, and never grow tired of it.

As I posted earlier, the Lord has been speaking to me about authority.  But, how do we obtian that authority if we don´t fully understand it?  Like with the word, everything comes by revelation through the Holy Spirit.   Consider this passage:

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.(NKJ)

I feel that there are many truths in the Bible that we have not tapped into yet.  Understanding His authority is part of it.  But there is also something else that I would like to share with you, and that is receiving a greater measure of  revelation.

The passage quoted above is quite popular, but have you considered personalizing this verse?  I tried that just a few days ago, and last night my spirit was leaping as I slept.   I literally said this verse in my sleep!

I will use my own name to give you an idea of how powerful this verse is:   that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, has given me, Yvette  the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

This is an exercise that I do often with other Bible passages, but it was the first time that  I personalized this verse for myself.

Do you desire to flow in a greater revelation in Christ?  Then I challenge you to personalize this verse, and other verses that speak to you.  As you do, you will flow in power and authority unlike you have ever flowed before.

Have blessed weekend!

Size and Authority

Luke 9:1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

In mid April a very pregnant dog adopted us.  She parked herself at our front gate and would not leave.  Me,  being the softy I am with dogs could not turn her away.  She was small, wagged her tail constantly and I could tell that she was grateful being with us and was enjoying our large yard.   Our two other dogs took to her, so it made it easier to adopt her.

We found out very fast that this small dog  has turned out to be the dominating one of the bunch.  She took over almost immediatly, and Wilma,  our bully boxer suddenly became submissive.

What I got out of this entire ordeal is that it s not really the size that matters, but the authority that one carries within.

We as believers have an authority within us  that was handed over to us through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Lord had been speaking to me about authority, and I have been meditating on it more.  I was surprised to find out about a book called The Believers Authority by Kenneth Hagin.  A Book that I quickly purchased.

I know we have authority, but what I did not have was the fullness of it or the revelation of it in my spirit.  With that understanding and knowledge, I can now go on to greater authority in Jesus.

We can never exhaust the truth of the word, and I plan on receiving a greater revelation of authority in my life as a believer.  What about you?  Let´s tap into that power that was delegated to us.

Blessings in His name,

Yvette
