Hebrews 10:24- 25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
For several years we have been attending a Spanish-speaking church. I knew the Lord wanted us in a Spanish church even though there are several English-speaking churches in Costa Rica. At first I felt that I did not fit it. Although I understand and speak Spanish fluently, I still had some difficulty expressing myself and even praying in Spanish.
As time passed, I began to feel more comfortable and found myself expressing myself better in my second language. But there was a greater force behind all of this. It is the love of the leaders and congregation towards each other and towards me. I realized that I that was making myself feel out of place. I was accepted from the first day I set foot into the place where we met, a small rental apartment with 20 people.
As the love began pouring out, the congregation grew. We moved out of the small rental and are now renting a larger building where all 120 of us are located, and are now looking for a bigger location.
Pouring out love only causes an increase. Pouring out of yourself into others only causes an increase. Jesus poured out of himself on the cross, and what started with 12 disciples is now a worldwide movement of followers.
Trust in the Lord, begin pouring out in love and see an increase in all areas of your life.
May you be richly blessed this day.

This post is a real encouragement to me, Yvette. This happens to me once in a while, but not as often as it used to, thank God! But I still fail sometimes:(
” realized that I that was making myself feel out of place. ” Sometimes we hear or feel things as truth, but it is only our flesh speaking. It’s so critical to really tune into what is of the flesh, and what is of God. And you are so correct by pouring out love, that’s how we will find the truth – pouring out agape love.
Happy New Year! Blessings!
Thank you Lori, and may you have a blessed New Year!
