Matthew 25:23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’(NKJ)
My husband and I were talking about his career recently and how the Lord has blessed him.
In talking about his work, we began to follow a trail that led him to where he is at now. We started with his first consulting jobs, and worked our way to the present.
While some of the jobs did not pay well, and others made failed promises, there was one thing that stood out. Faithfulness to do the best work possible, regardless.
Because of that attitude, Fernando has received some excellent job recommendations that has led to greater opportunities. In a struggling economy, we are blessed that Fernando has the work that he has.
This made me think of the gifts that the Lord has given us, and what we do with it. Many times we want to see an overnight success, but we need to understand that there is path that we need to follow.
The Lord will in fact place several tests in front of us, after all, He does want to bless us with many things.
When we minister to the Bride on behalf of the Lord, what happens next is not up to us, but to the Lord. What does matter is our attitude and having a servants heart.
I read recently that what we do with our gifts the Lord has given us, is our gift to Him.
I have been guilty at times where I have not been faithful in the ministry. Often times outside influences can affect us, but if we keep our eyes on Jesus and continue our ministry path, we will reap our joy in the Lord.
Blessings in Him.
