To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. we should ask ourselves, what are we to overcome? simple all these spiritual battles that plagues us while on Earth.

Having had a serious fly problem in my home last year, I can appreciate this analogy. We need to treat the distractions that come our way as nothing more important than flies that need to be swatted to death, using the word of God. No matter how many times we have to get out our fly swatter, we need desperately to keep our minds on God.
