Yvette,

I stumbled and dugg this post.

Once again you've inspired me and the words God has given you have filled me up with hope.

I too believe we will soon see God's spirit and gifts poured out over His people in a way that will astound the world. I will pray that I can be trusted with what He wants to give me.

Yvette,

The question you pose is a great one...and a slightly daunting one! Do I have full integrity? Am I really sold out for The Cause, or am I sold out for my own name? Really, why am I in this....for my glory or His?

If I really pause and meditate seriously on those questions, the answer is humbling...

We definitely need to be faithful in the small things. For me that means, not presuming to rule the world someday. It sounds silly, but so much of the way I act can be a subtle way of setting myself up to be important and admired.

That's not faithfulness. Somehow--beyond mere lip service--I need to honestly credit God with the goodness in my life.
