Thanksgiving in Costa Rica

27 Nov

Genesis 9:13 “I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

After many days of rain last week, we finally woke up to a bit of sunshine and we were pleasantly surprised to see this rainbow outside our window.

While Costa Rica does not officially celebrate Thanksgiving, there are enough US Citizens here for the grocery stores to sell Turkey, stuffing, yams, and many other yummy treats that we can enjoy.

We are thankful this year for so many reasons, and the Lord has been  faithful  and so very good to us.  While we may not know what next year has in store, we do know that God is still on the throne and in control of all.  He supplies all our needs, and He is our God that never leaves us nor forsakes us.

May we give thanks to our Lord continually, for his love endures forever.
