Stepping out in Faith

My car was stolen in the middle of December, and since then our family has been down to one car, a large 8 cylinder suburban.  We live in a semi-rural area and things like grocery stores, banks and services are not just around the corner.

We went to see a new car and  have applied for a loan.  I usually get a bit nervous at these transactions.  I thinks it´s because we have not had a car payment in years, and I don´t like the thought of one.

Our son is in the university and needs transportation just as I need to run errands. We have decided to take the plunge and go for a new car.  Still being nervous about it, my husband is telling me not to worry, that the car payment is no big deal.  ( He is always right in these matters.)

This morning I felt peace that yes, a car payment is no big deal.  if the Lord took care of us before, there is no reason why he won´t take care of us now.   Often times I just need that extra assurance from the Lord.

So we have stepped out in faith, and I am looking forward to that new car, and praying that our loan will be approved.
