What is in the darkness will be brought out to the Light
A story has broken in Costa Rica regarding some immigration officials selling entry stamps on their passports to illegals living in the United States. The immigration officials would travel to the states, stamp the passports at a price of $100.00 -$200.00 per stamp and return. This would show the illegals entering and leaving the country, not risking their visa.
This scam was caught, and now there is an investigation involving as many as 20 immigration officals involved.
The word says in 1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.(NKJ)
Whatever is hidden in the darkness, will come to the light. The sin mentioned above was hidden for quite some time, but it was brought out into the light and is now being investigated.
Is there something in your life that has not been brought out to the light, and it still remains hidden? Perhaps you have not had justice in an area, or there was a misunderstanding in an another.
Ask the Lord to bring out those hidden things and shine them to the light. Doing so will cause everyone to see correctly.
I see this as a love-based promise from God. God, as our Father, wants the best for us. He is so high up there and is able to see things much clearer then we can by the smog we create. As we know; the classic symbol for the Holy Spirit is water. When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives to show us things that are hidden by our smog, it rains down upon us and allows us to see things that were once in darkness.
God is so wonderful. and his timing is perfect. He has done wonderful things for me and I know there is so much more. the rain is here and we are able to see with our spiritual eyes like never before.
