Your Words Will Prosper

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Many prophets use this verse when speaking a word over someone, myself included.  I began to look at the verse a bit closer, especially the last part that states our words shall prosper.

God’s word brings faith hope and love and our words are a very powerful tool in our hands. The word also says that we should be blessing and not cursing.

Recently my husband became ill with flu like symptoms and he had to leave for a business trip to the States. Not feeling any better, I took him to the Dr. and his diagnosis after some blood work was Dengue.

We did not accept that report, and we began to declare the opposite and speak against the diagnosis and declare health. Our proclamation of faith caused our words to prosper for that which it was sent.

Fernando had two blood test done, and both test resulted in the same diagnosis. We continued our declaration of health and Fernando felt better and was able to go on his business trip.

Word are a very powerful tool in our hands, and used correctly will cause us great benefit. We have seen many things come to pass in our lives using our words wisely. Let us use our words to prosper our lives and of those around us, and bring faith hope and love to those around us.

Be Separated from the World

Matthew 5:39 “But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

My son was discussing this verse with me the other day and he asked me what I thought it meant.

I told him that Jesus walks in love. Turning the other cheek was walking away from an argument, and not being taken up in contentions, for they are unprofitable.

My son said something interesting. He said walking away is what separates us from the world, that if we leave the judgment to the Lord and not take it in our own hands, those who do us harm will reap what they sow.

I thought that was wise for a young adult, and I began to think how we hang on to past hurts or false judgments people make upon us. If we can only let go and allow the Lord to work, he will vindicate us.

All we need to do is let go and feel that release of any hurts we may have. Let us learn to walk away in Love, just as Jesus did.
